Job Description

  • Job Responsibilities  Experience working within an IMS Database environment. Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z/OS Operating System, Storage, Databases, CICS, and Disaster Recovery concepts.  Experience in IMS V15.5 or Later upgrade with SMP/E  Experience in ISV products include, but are not limited to CA database tools, IBM database tools, Sysview, Omegamon, and Mainview.  Experience in IMS Database Objects, Logical Unit definitions, and IMS Commands.  Expert in IMS configuration like SYSGEN, PSBGEN, Subsystem configuration.  Will serve as primary technical contact for the mainframe Database for one or more clients during transition.
