Job Title: Mainframe Test Engineer

Job Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid

Experience : 5.8 Years -12 Years


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and functional requirements for mainframe applications
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for mainframe systems
  • Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and UAT testing
  • Validate batch jobs, online transactions, and reports
  • Execute test cases using TSO/ISPF and analyze batch job outputs
  • Perform backend testing and data validation using DB2 / SQL
  • Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
  • Coordinate with developers and business analysts for defect resolution
  • Prepare test reports, defect metrics, and test execution summaries
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards and testing best practices
