Job Title: Mainframe Test Engineer
Job Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid
Experience : 5.8 Years -12 Years
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements for mainframe applications
Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for mainframe systems
Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and UAT testing
Validate batch jobs, online transactions, and reports
Execute test cases using TSO/ISPF and analyze batch job outputs
Perform backend testing and data validation using DB2 / SQL
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
Coordinate with developers and business analysts for defect resolution
Prepare test reports, defect metrics, and test execution summaries
Ensure adherence to QA standards and testing best practices
Notice Period: Immediate joiner Or Serving Notice Period
