ROLE: MAINFRAME TESTING
TORONTO - FULLTIME - HYBRID

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute test plans/cases: Design comprehensive test strategies and detailed test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.

  • Perform various testing types: Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, and sometimes performance and security testing for both batch and online applications.

  • Validate data integrity: Perform DB data validation by writing and executing complex SQL queries, and verify data in various file systems like VSAM and flat files.

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues: Analyze job logs, spool files, and Abend reports for batch processing, and collaborate with developers and business analysts to identify and resolve defects.
