Job Description:

• All 3 skills require N3+ Japanese language proficiency and should be certified.

Key Responsibilities
• To install, upgrade, maintain and apply PTF's and fixes for z/OS operating system and OEM products/ISV products running on z/OS
• Perform activities such as SMP/E, REXX and assembler.
• Generating regular (monthly/quarterly) performance, capacity, and efficiency reports,
• To proactively monitor z/OS and related software and to take action to prevent potential issues and to maximise performance.
• Knowledge of tools like RMF, SMF, Mainframe Disks, replication and tools such as CSM
• Experience of Storage administration such as initializing disks, re-organizing files and updating SMS definitions
• Experience in VTAM/TCPIP Network administration
• Analyzing RMF/SMF data using SAS/MXG, QMF, or other tools to find trends, anomalies, and bottlenecks.
• To maintain robustness of the configuration and to maintain and test the mainframe DR solution.
• To deal with day to day support issues related to z/OS and associated software.

Key Skills
• z/OS, SMP/E, JCL, JES2/3, HCD, HMC, Sysplex
• Strong knowledge of WLM, RMF, BMC Products, CA Products, HCD
• Experience in a multi-CPU & Sysplex environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interface with various levels of management and with business clients
• Experienced at troubleshooting performance issues in a z/OS environment
• Knowledge of Mainframe Disks, replication and tools such as CSM will be added advantage
• Experience of Storage administration such as initializing disks, re-organizing files and updating SMS definitions would be advantageous
• Experience in VTAM/TCPIP Network administration would be advantageous
