Mainframe/Cobol/Tandem

Design, develop, and support high availability applications on HP NonStop (Tandem). Implement features, fix defects, and contribute to performance and reliability improvements across Guardian/OSS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop services/components using TAL/COBOL/C and TACL scripts.

- Build/maintain Pathway serverclasses, interprocess communication, and APIs.

- Work with data storage (Enscribe/NonStop SQL) and ensure transactional integrity with TMF.

- Participate in code/design reviews; write unit/integration tests and deployment scripts.

- Use NonStop utilities (FUP/SCF/OSS, NetBatch) for build, release, and operations.

- Troubleshoot production issues (logs, Inspect/Measure), perform RCA, and implement fixes.

- Follow secure coding standards and documentation practices; collaborate with onsite/offshore teams.
