Your Employer Our client is a proudly Australian-owned agribusiness with a legacy dating back to 1933. Specialising in high-quality beef, they operate three advanced processing facilities across Victoria and Tasmania, including their Tongala site—servicing domestic and international markets. The Tongala facility has operated for over 30 years and recently underwent significant upgrades to support increasing production demands. The Role This role is essential in ensuring the continuous operation of a busy meat processing facility through the maintenance of electrical systems. You'll work closely with an established maintenance team across a 3-week rotating shift. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and resolve faults across plant machinery and control systems Maintain and update electrical documentation and reports Support installation and upgrades of new machinery Collaborate with continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with WHS standards and electrical regulations Skills & Experience: A-Grade Victorian Electrical Licence & relevant trade qualification Strong understanding of VSDs, relay logic, PLCs, and automation Basic mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, pneumatics) Availability for rotating shifts (Morning, Day, Afternoon) Full working rights in Australia and current driver's licence The Benefits: Enjoy a secure, full-time role with excellent earning potential and access to great lifestyle and career benefits: Staff meat discounts across premium beef products Overtime rates: 1.5x for first 3 hrs | 2x thereafter | Sat rates apply 15% loading for afternoon shifts (2:00pm–11:00pm) Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Up to $5,000 relocation assistance (if required) Strong training and development opportunities Community-focussed work environment with numerous sports and social events Choose Agri Talent Agri Talent provides permanent recruitment and executive search services exclusively for Australian agribusiness.
