Job Description

Reporting to the Electrical and Process Control Leader, the Maintenance Electrician is a member of the Engineering Team, who will provide technical services to the engineering department by performing maintenance of machinery, equipment and services on site to meet site objectives. The Maintenance Electrician will also purse maintenance improvements and drive a high-quality culture and standard. This is a day shift role, working Monday to Friday however some after hours calls outs or overtime may occasionally be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems across the entirety of the Glass Manufacturing process and its key plant/systems
  • Excecute preventative maintenance tasks assigned by the Electrical and Process Control Leader
  • Do minor resets, adjustments, calibrations and repairs to AGV's
  • Undertake Electrical breakdowns on furnace equipment in conjunction with furnace operator
  • Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety and environment regulations
  • Other duties as directed by the Electrical and Process Control Leader

About You

  • Trade Qualification – Electrician with current A Class Electrical Licence
  • Previous experience in fault finding automated machinery and industrial maintenance
  • A good understanding of Electrical systems, Automation and PLC Experience
