Industrial & Food Manufacturing Electrician Opportunities — Murrarie & Caboolture

1️⃣ Maintenance Electrician — Rotating Shift |Murrarie (Food Manufacturing)
�� $53.45 per hour + penalties + overtime
�� Brisbane, QLD
�� Industry: Food Manufacturing / FMCG
�� Rotating Afternoon & Night Shift Roster

Join a highly skilled and supportive maintenance team working across high-speed production equipment. You’ll play a key role in keeping processing lines running safely and efficiently during peak production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative & reactive maintenance on electrical systems and automated machinery
  • Fault-finding on conveyors, packaging lines, printers, UHT plants & homogenisers
  • PLC & SCADA troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred)
  • Work collaboratively with fitters & production to reduce downtime
  • Maintain CMMS records (SAP/MEX) and complete shift reports
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (RCA, 5-WHY, Fishbone)

Skills & Experience

  • QLD Electrical License — trade qualified
  • Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing preferred
  • Strong PLC fault-finding experience
  • Knowledge of VSDs, automation & pneumatic systems
  • Ability to interpret schematics & engineering drawings
  • Positive, proactive and team-focused work ethic

2️⃣ Plant Electrician — 4 on / 4 off | Caboolture (Meat Processing Facility)
�� $42–$46 per hour + penalties + overtime
�� Caboolture — 30 mins north of Brisbane
�� Industry: Industrial Processing / Export Facility
�� 4 on / 4 off roster — weekdays & weekends
Work within a stable, year-round facility alongside a close-knit maintenance team supporting automated plant machinery and site operations.
Shifts

  • Late Start: 10:00 AM – 6:07 PM
  • Monday–Friday: 7.6-hour shifts
  • Daily overtime after 9.5 hours

Team Structure

  • Team of 3 Electricians & 6 Fitters
  • Reports to Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, repairs & troubleshooting across plant equipment
  • Electrical fault-finding on automated systems
  • Support production uptime during operational shifts
  • Work independently & as part of project teams
  • Participate in on-call roster when required

Skills & Experience

  • Trade-qualified Electrician
  • Experience in manufacturing or heavy machinery (not essential),  Residential and commercial electricians welcome to apply for industry change with training!
  • Strong autonomous problem-solving ability
  • PLC / SCADA exposure highly regarded

Daily overtime structure:
