Maintenance Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform regular inspection, preventive maintenance and overhaul on knitting
and glove manufacturing machines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronics issues.
• Replace defective parts such as needles, sinkers, cams, Bearing etc.
• Identify and fix machine breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective
measures to ensure consistent product quality
• Adjust machine settings for different knitting pattern and fabric types.
• Work closely with the production and quality department to meet quality
standards.
• Interact with machine manufacturers, part suppliers and service providers for
technical support and parts procurement.
• Maintain comprehensive logs, including service histories, parts replaced and
scheduled maintenance reports.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory of spare parts, tools and equipment
necessary for smooth operation.
• Lead, train and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and staffs.
• Follow safety guideline and standard operating procedures.
