Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.

  • Facilitate the corrective and preventive maintenance tasks of the company.

  • Diagnose failures and define and implement solutions and / or preventive measures

  • Prepare reports of damage to facilities and assets for repair, maintenance, and accident prevention.

  • Analyze the production processes and recommend the purchase of adequate equipment and machinery, efficiency, profitability, and availability of spare parts.

  • Establish work procedures and manage the tasks of maintenance personnel, to ensure efficiency in their performance, both in the quality of the work performed, and in the time invested. 

  • Establish inventory control systems for parts and spare parts, to avoid leaks and shortages. 

  • Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

  • Establish systems for measuring the performance of machinery, equipment and recommend changes, adjustments, or replacements. 

  • Implement and suggest measures through dialogue with production that allow the maximum performance of machinery and equipment used in the conversion and manufacturing processes. 

  • Ensure, analyze and improve; MTTR & MTBF, TPM OEE, 5’s.


 


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • At least three years of maintenance experience required

  • Extensive knowledge of pneumatics, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.

  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.

  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
