Job title - Maintenance Engineer Location - Northampton
Salary - £50,000 per annum
Shifts Available:
Days: 6am–6pm | 4 on / 4 off
Nights: 9pm–6am | Sunday–ThursdayThe Role We’re recruiting a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading regulated manufacturing business. You’ll be a key part of the engineering team, keeping high-speed production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably.
This is a hands-on, technically varied role working with modern machinery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance (electrical & mechanical)
Rapid breakdown response with strong fault-finding and root cause analysis
Maintenance of PLC-controlled, high-speed production and packaging equipment
Work on industrial ovens/microwaves, HV transformers, slicers, sealers, metal detectors, and refrigeration
Equipment optimisation, start-ups, and performance monitoring
CMMS updates, shift handovers, a...
