Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead and strengthen our plant maintenance operations in a mid-sized precision engineering company. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, hands-on expertise in breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance, and practical knowledge of Air Handling Units (AHU) and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of all machinery and plant equipment.


• Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring timely task execution, skill enhancement, and adherence to safety standards.


• Oversee maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems including Air Handling Units (AHU), HVAC, compressors, and other precision equipment.


• Conduct root cause analysis for major breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize recurrence.


• Monitor and control spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical spares while optimizing maintenance costs.


• Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and environmental regulations within the maintenance function.


• Coordinate with production and quality teams to align maintenance schedules with operational requirements.


• Prepare maintenance reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
