Maintenance Manager

Oversees all machinery and facility maintenance operations while providing secondary support to plant management. Manages the maintenance team, ensures equipment reliability, and serves as a technical mentor and trainer for maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, development, and disciplinary actions

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities such as PMs, breakdown response, repairs, and parts inventory

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs, including identifying/fabricating replacement components

• Execute preventative maintenance schedules, equipment calibration, and safety checks

• Provide guidance to production staff on machine operation, safety practices, and best-use standards

• Perform facility maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and structural modifications

• Manage parts purchasing within spending authority and ensure cost-effective sourcing

• Dismantle/reassemble machinery including motors, conveyor systems, flexo folder gluers, presses, banders, bundlers, and printing machinery

• Implement and enhance safety systems, conduct safety audits, ensure compliance with LOTO and guarding standards

• Fabricate structural modifications for improved safety and operational efficiency

• Perform light trailer maintenance and basic equipment upkeep

• Support plant operations and assist in continuous improvement initiatives

• Full-time role in a manufacturing plant/warehouse environment

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong verbal communication and critical thinking capabilities

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and operate effectively with limited direction

• Proficient in reading/interpreting manuals, specs, and technical instructions

• Basic math proficiency with accurate measurement capabilities

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of machine maintenance experience

• Minimum 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

• Certified forklift operator

• Proficient in welding
