Basic Purpose

The Maintenance Mechanical Technician installs and maintains facility equipment and machinery in order to maintain required production levels under minimal supervision. NOTE: This is a second shift position (2 to 10:30

Responsibilities

  • Programs Variable Frequency Drives or Servo motor drives.
  • Follows all Company safety rules and regulations including LOTO and wears all required PPE.
  • Troubleshoots PLC programs and robotics.
  • Reads and understands maintenance work orders.
  • Accurately performs daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as required per established PM programs and completes required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Mentors and/or trains existing and/or new maintenance employees.
