Job Description
We’re hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support heavy equipment and processing machinery in a large outdoor industrial scrap yard. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys fixing big equipment, working outside, and keeping operations running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Repair and maintain loaders, excavators, conveyors, balers, and shredders
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Perform welding, torching, and basic fabrication
- Handle breakdowns and preventive maintenance
- Work outdoors year-round in a heavy industrial environment
What You Need
- 2+ years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience
- Heavy equipment or industrial machinery repair background
- Welding and cutting experience
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Strong safety mindset
