Maintenance Operative

Location: Leeds (PBSA Site)
Hours: Full time (Mon - Fri , 10am - 6pm)
Beds: 730 beds across a single site

Hintel are supporting a leading PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation) operator in the recruitment of a Maintenance Operative to work across a student accommodation site in Leeds.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a broad maintenance skillset who enjoys working in a fast-paced residential environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance tasks
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting/decorating works
  • Responding to maintenance requests and ensuring timely resolution
  • Completing room inspections, repairs and minor refurbishments
  • Supporting health & safety compliance across sites
  • Liaising with site teams and external contractors where required
