Position: Maintenance Operator

Location: Canning Vale, WA
Pay Rate to: Up to $51.52p/h + OT

About the Role:
This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining water and wastewater assets and playing a big part in maintaining some of the 56,800km of pipelines that stretch across WA. 

Responsibilities:

• Operational and maintenance tasks requiring use of specialist tools, plant, and equipment
• Operating, maintaining, and repairing water, wastewater, and drainage assets
• Fault-finding and repairing pipes and joints
• Upgrades to the existing pipeline as required
• Digging trenches, inspecting pipelines, and repairing broken water services
• Participating in safe job-planning, team meetings, and inspections

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous maintenance experience (essential)
• Previous underground service maintenance experience (desirable)
• Construction White Card (essential)
• Working at Heights (desirable)
• Confined Space Entry (desirable)
• MR Driver’s Licence (minimum)
• Bobcat / Skid Steer Ticket (essential)
• Excavator Ticket (desirable)
