Position Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the maintenance planner is responsible for planning, prioritizing, scheduling and tracking the maintenance work in close collaboration with the Maintenance leads. The maintenance planner supports, and acts in the absence of the Maintenance Manager and Team Lead, in ensuring that work is conducted in a safe, secure, efficient, and cost-effective manner. S/he also participates in the implementation of the continuous improvement program.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair / preventive / predictive design-out activities on the organization’s plant and equipment.
• Works with Maintenance leads, supervisors and planners to determine resource availability and work to level the workforce.
