Maintenance Summer Student

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Conduct site clean-up and repairs to dormitory building finishes and systems;

·Perform interior building maintenance, which includes cleaning, painting, furniture moving and replacing lights;

·Performs exterior building maintenance, which includes minor painting and cleaning windows;

WORKING CONDITIONS

·Hot temperatures;

·Lifting heavy loads,

·Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling;

QUALIFICATIONS

·Capability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, complete repetitive tasks and pay attention to details;

·Ability to work independently and in a team environment;

·Keep safety as a number one priority in all daily activities;

·Good communication and interpersonal skills;

·Experience using simple power tools would be an asset;
