Maintenance Technical Planner

About the role

We’ve a new opportunity for a Maintenance Technical Planner in the North based in the Pity Me, Durham area. In the role you’ll provide detailed technical support, insight and control to the maintenance operational teams across a range of activities within the water and waste water directorates.

You’ll plan, co-ordinate and review the execution of high complexity activities normally associated with the department’s activities to maintain and repair plant and machinery. You’ll be leading teams containing both internal technicians and multiple contractors and the technical planner will be required to deliver successful outcomes and compliance to all internal and statutory safety control processes particularly Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations, Permit to Work (PTW), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Risk assessment & NWGs electrical safety policy.
