Maintenance Technician Class A – DAY SHIFT – (Crane Technician)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Ability to repair and maintain overhead bridge cranes Jib Cranes and other types of machinery require diagnosing and making solid recommendations to repair all equipment as needed.

  • Must have knowledge in repairing, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems.

  • Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to the sounds to locate cause of trouble.

  • Perform monthly inspections on all production equipment and replacement parts; Confer with department managers to coordinate monthly inspections.

  • Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections; repair or replace defective parts; install special functional and structural parts in devices.

  • Lubricate and clean parts.
