Maintenance Technician

Job description

To manage the Jebel Ali and Rashidya plant for smooth operations and minimize breakdowns
To keep a record of the spare parts and manage the inventory

Maintain records of work orders which are generated form the CMMS system and complete the tasks on time

Raise Unsafe Acts and Conditions existing in the plant and proactively close such tasks to mitigate the risks

Liaise with vendors for procuring spare parts and services

Supporting the Production team with technical inputs to achieve maximum results

Carry out routine survey/visual inspection of the plant machines as per equipment checklist

Problem solving ability must be displayed when critical machinery is under breakdown

Provide timely information to Maintenance Manager regarding plant activities, critical breakdowns and special works being undertaken
