Job Description
Our client is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians – Electrical/Controls to support automated manufacturing operations on 2nd or 3rd shift. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing electrical and automation systems, including Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robotics, CNC equipment, conveyors, and plant automation. You'll help maintain production uptime, perform preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement of equipment controls.

Work Schedules: 2nd or 3rd Shift
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify replacement parts as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
- Complete documentation, logs, and maintenance records accurately.
- Support CNC mills, conveyors, robotics, and machine automation.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance per work orders.
- Provide electrical and controls support for automated manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform PLC‑related diagnostics and assist with control modifications and upgrades.
- Participate in the design, development, procurement, and launch of automation equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment specifications.
Qualifications/Must Haves:
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing process controls.
- Working knowledge of hardware and operating computer systems.
- Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and/or Fanuc controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Automated Manufacturing, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Agile PLM or similar documentation systems.
- Understanding of ISO9001, IATF16949, or ISO14001 standards.
- Experience in automotive or high‑volume manufacturing environments.
- Experience with CNC automation, robotics, and machine controls.
