Responsibilities
- Serve as the appointed Competent Person as required under applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, ensuring all maintenance activities comply with Malaysian legal standards.
- Support CHEP’s Zero Harm and CHEP Safe programs by actively participating in safety initiatives, hazard reporting, and the implementation of safe work practices across the Service Centre.
- Oversee OHS&E compliance for all on‑site contractors, ensuring that induction, work permits, and safe operating procedures are followed at all times.
- Contribute to the Risk Assessment (RA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) processes by conducting assessments, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce operational risks.
