Overview
UIC Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of carpentry, repair, and maintenance tasks in support of company properties. Responsibilities include building, repairing, and installing fixtures and finishes; completing drywall, painting, and roofing projects; and conducting minor mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. The role also includes preventive maintenance, replacing damaged interior surfaces, and installing hardware, window coverings, and other building components. The Maintenance Technician maintains open communication with the Maintenance Supervisor, responds to operational needs, and participates in on-call rotations as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or 1–2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two to three years of progressively responsible experience in the North Slope Region with facilities maintenance and operations.
Valid Alaska Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Commercial Driver’s License.
