Maintenance Worker

Summary This position is located at the Enlisted Club, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department, U.S. Naval Air Facility, Atsugi, Japan. The purpose of this position is to maintain all equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition and to repair or replace any inoperative equipment. Responsibilities Plumbing assignments may typically consist of inspecting broken pipes, leaky faucets and stopped-up drains. Carpentry assignments may typically consist of reviewing interior painting. Incumbent will inspect the surface to be painted, ensure the paint is obtained to the desired color and ensure the finished product is the color specified in the work order request. Incumbent may also perform a variety of other maintenance duties which may include but is not limited to replacing defective light switches, burned out bulbs, repairing broken or inoperative door locks, broken tools and equipment.
