Under supervision of the Maintenance Manager/Coordinator or Working Supervisor, the Maintenance Worker I performs a variety of skilled maintenance and grounds keeping and parking duties in accordance with approved practices and procedures: Mows, rakes, waters, aerates, and edges lawns; plants, weeds, and waters flower beds; plants, prunes and trims trees and shrubs; applies fertilizers. Performs manual labor duties associated with grounds maintenance; cleans, lubricates and performs minor repair and parts replacement to grounds equipment and machinery.
