Maintenance Worker

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Southern Pines Inn at Seymour Johnson AFB. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, and lift. This position requires a Pre-Employment physical. Responsibilities Performs one or a combination of the following tasks on a scheduled basis for preventative maintenance or as required for guest requested maintenance. Performs general maintenance such as repairing/replacing hinges, door knobs, locks, etc. or any minor maintenance required in lodging facilities. Maintains furniture in good condition by repair and may use hand or power tools. Installs or repairs items in guest rooms and or common areas to included the necessary miscellaneous hardware. Performs carpentry work to include constructing to include constructing or repairing of cabinets, shelves, and all other furniture items.
