  • Manage and lead the resolution of major incidents to restore services efficiently.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Ensure timely communication with stakeholders regarding incident updates and resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain incident management processes and documentation.
  • Analyse incident trends to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Act as a point of escalation for critical incidents within the organisation.
  • Collaborate with service teams to ensure adherence to SLAs and operational standards.
  • Provide post-incident reports and recommendations for future prevention.
  • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Major Incident Manager should have:

  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing incidents in a technology-focused environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of incident management frameworks and tools.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks.
