Makerspace Specialist, Princeton University Library
Princeton University Library (PUL) seeks a resourceful and collaborative individual to help launch our library makerspace in the role of Makerspace Specialist. The PUL Makerspace opened in the spring of 2021 in a newly renovated 2000 s.f. space that is easily visible and reachable from several parts of campus. Located on the A floor of Lewis Library next to the Engineering Library Circulation Desk, the PUL Makerspace is close to two related spaces – the StudioLab managed by the Council for Science and Technology (CST) and the Digital Learning Lab managed by the McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning.
Reporting to the Engineering Librarian, the Makerspace Specialist will develop programs and services to launch a new library makerspace as part of a renovation in Lewis Library and Fine Hall.
