Job Description

Job Scope:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes (stir-fry, dim sum, noodles, rice, soups, and specialty dishes) according to recipes and restaurant standards
  • Ensure food is cooked and presented in a timely manner while maintaining consistency in quality and portion control
  • Manage kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, cooking equipment, and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Monitor inventory, assist in ordering ingredients, and minimize food wastage
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team and communicate effectively with service staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and handle kitchen equipment responsibly

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cook/Chef in a restaurant or hotel
