Role Description:

This role is part of team that provides accounting support and solutions to Principal Financial Group. This team consists of several processes like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General ledger (Reconciliations and Journals support), Reporting, Tax, Control & Compliance.

This role will lead an Record to Report Accounting team of 15-20 FTE and will be responsible for Day-to-day operations, Month-end, KPI /SLAs management, Monthly governance, transition/change management, operation excellence, consult and provide solution related R2R/AP/AR/Tax best practices

Reporting Relationship

This role will report into Director/ Associate Director – Accounting

  • Manage accounting operations related to AP, Payroll, fixed accounting, commission accounting process
