Role: Manager – Bid Management
Experience: 9-15 years
Location: Hyderabad
We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager with strong expertise in managing end‑to‑end bid processes, preferably within the Appian solutions ecosystem. The ideal candidate will drive strategic bid planning, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure the submission of compelling, compliant, and high‑quality proposals aligned with client expectations and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bid Coordination
- Own and manage the complete bid lifecycle from opportunity identification, evaluation, planning, to final proposal submission.
- Ensure all bid activities adhere to defined timelines and quality benchmarks.
2. Strategy Development
- Develop and implement winning bid strategies tailored to the client’s needs, competitive landscape, and business objectives.
- Conduct risk assessment and mitigation planning for each bid.
3. Team Management
- Assemble, lead, and mentor cross‑functional bid teams ensuring role clarity and alignment with overall bid goals.
- Facilitate seamless collaboration across all stakeholders.
4. Proposal Creation
- Drive creation of comprehensive, accurate, and high‑impact bid documents .
- Ensure all submissions strictly follow client instructions, formats, and compliance requirements.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product management, finance, delivery, and legal teams for integrated bid responses.
- Conduct internal reviews and approvals at every milestone.
6. Client Interaction
- Engage directly with clients to understand RFP requirements, clarify queries, and address concerns.
- Represent the organization during bid presentations and solution discussions.
7. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with client requirements, internal bid governance, and audit standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, version control, and repository management.
8. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Continuously track market trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies to inform bid positioning.
9. Post-Bid Activities
- Lead post‑submission activities, including presentations, negotiations, debriefs , and handover to delivery teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering , or a related field
Skills
- Proven experience in Bid Management , ideally within low‑code platforms.
- Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in project management, planning, and deadline management.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
Certifications
- Appian certifications are desirable and will be considered an added advantage.
