We are seeking a Business Analysis Manager to join Optum Rx. In this internal-facing leadership role, you will manage a team of 5 professionals responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and validating data impacting members, clients, OptumRx, and/or business processes. You will collaborate closely with operational partners to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all deliverables.



This position requires exceptional organizational skills, solid analytical capabilities, and specialized knowledge of pharmacy benefits. As Manager, you will be accountable for maintaining high standards of precision in your team's work while driving process improvements and fostering a culture of continuous learning.



The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to lead a team effectively under tight deadlines. Critical thinking, prioritization, and adaptability are essential for success.



**Primary Responsibilities:**



+ Lead and develop a team of 5 individuals performing detailed claim analysis and benefit setup research that impacts member payments

+ Review and validate team analyses for accuracy and completeness; perform analyses when necessary to meet deadlines.

+ Ensure timely and effective communication with key business partners and stakeholders.

+ Collaborate with client account teams and cross-functional departments to address business needs and resolve complex challenges.

+ Deliver clear explanations, interpretations, and actionable recommendations based on reporting results.

+ Drive process efficiencies and continuous improvement within the team.

+ Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). **Required Qualifications:**



+ 4+ years of progressive experience in Business or Report Analysis roles

+ 2+ years applying analytical and critical thinking skills in a professional setting

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).

+ Proven excellent communication, project management, organizational, and analytical skills



**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Experience in people management

+ Financial, accounting, or remediation experience

+ SQL proficiency (tables, joins, query writing)

+ Experience with RxClaim

+ Knowledge of PBM and pharmacy benefit structures.
