Summary:</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are seeking a Manager Business Development with 58 years of experience in the AEC BIM industry to lead and scale our US-market business development efforts. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for driving revenue growth, owning key enterprise relationships, and managing a high-performing business development team.<br/><br/>As a Manager BDM, you will define sales strategy, oversee the full sales lifecycle, build strong C-level relationships with US architecture and construction firms, and work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored BIM solutions. You will play a critical role in strengthening VBSs market position and accelerating sustainable growth.<br/><br/><b>Key Own and drive end-to-end business development strategy for the US market within the AEC BIM domain.<br/><br/>- Lead the complete sales cyclefrom market penetration and prospecting to negotiations, closures, and long-term account growth.<br/><br/>- Build, manage, and scale a high-performing BDE team, including hiring, mentoring, target setting, and performance management.<br/><br/>- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand VBSs footprint across architecture, engineering, and construction firms in the USA.<br/><br/>- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers, principals, and C-level stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Oversee CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to ensure pipeline accuracy, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.<br/><br/>- Partner with marketing, technical, and delivery teams to create customized BIM solutions aligned with client needs.<br/><br/>- Lead high-impact client presentations, solution walkthroughs, and commercial discussions.<br/><br/>- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements while ensuring profitability and long-term client value.<br/><br/>- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights to refine GTM and sales approaches.<br/><br/>- Drive post-sale engagement, account expansion, renewals, and upsell opportunities.<br/><br/>- Represent VBS at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand presence and thought leadership.<br/><br/><b>Skills & 5 - 8 years of experience in business development or sales within the AEC BIM industry, with strong exposure to the US market.<br/><br/>- Proven experience managing and scaling sales teams in a B2B services or consulting environment.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of BIM services, workflows, and AEC industry dynamics.<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales analytics.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated success in closing complex, high-value deals and building long-term client partnerships.<br/><br/>- Strategic mindset with excellent negotiation, forecasting, and revenue-planning skills.<br/><br/>- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing senior leadership and stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with a performance-driven approach.<br/><br/>- Highly organized, process-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br/><br/>- Client-centric mindset with the ability to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.</p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
