Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a dual role:
1. Engage with corporate HR and DEI leaders to pitch childcare services (onsite, near-site, back-up care).
2. Build partnerships with K-12 schools
You'll own the entire sales cycle-from cold connect to pitch, proposal, negotiation, and closure-and work independently to build the company presence in your assigned geography.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients and K-12 school partners in your region
- Conduct cold outreach, lead discovery conversations, and present tailored solutions (virtually and in person)
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
- Pitch to mid-to-senior HR leaders, school owners, and academic heads
- Lead proposals, follow-ups, pricing discussions, and contract closures
- Use tools like LinkedIn, Lusha, Apollo, etc., to generate leads and execute targeted outreach campaigns
