Job Title - Project Lead – Civil & Structural

Department - Project Management

Location - Corporate office, Vadodara

Reporting To - Head Engineering


Responsibilities


  • Execution of the project as per Scope.
  • Execution of the project within the budget.
  • Execution of the project as per schedule.
  • Maintaining the quality during project execution.
  • Meeting the customer expectations.
  • SOP Implementation during Project Execution.
  • Estimation and Costing of Civil Work
  • Vendor Development for Civil and Structural Works


Engineering management: Prepare/Review project proposal, construction philosophy and primary project layout and estimation.

  • Reviewing documents issued by civil/structure consultants and release to site IFC drawings for construction.
  • Approving PR for civil and structural works
  • Technical Bid Analysis Review
  • Detailed estimation of Civil & Structural Project Work and prepare/review BOQ for same and Technical Support to Procurement department.
  • Clearing technical issues with vendors related to civil and structural works tender
  • Maintaining Standard Specification for civil and structural works

Quality management: Coordination with site team wrto Quality controls before and during construction

  • Observing progress of work at Site.

Construction management: Coordination with Site Team to achieve the target of civil works.

  • Meeting with vendors to review the schedule, quality, and progress of the work.
  • Resolving Site issues wrto drawings

Budget management: Providing CAPEX details for placing PR to Site Team.

  • Stakeholder management: Coordination with various internal dept- mechanical, electrical, instrumentation.
  • Getting stability certificates from vendors.
  • Value Engineering of civil and structural works by reviewing drawings.
  • Reviewing extension of time notes received from Site
  • Closing of Civil Contracts in coordination with Project Procurement and Site Team

15-18 Years in EPCM and industrial Projects


Qualification


BE/B. Tech Civil engineering

Preferred certification – in Project Management


Knowledge of Software/ Application System/Tools

MS Project, Primavera, MS Office, Outlook, Internet, AutoCAD, Navis
