**Manager Commercial Planning and Strategic Initiatives (m/f/d)**

**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Wiesbaden site, Abbott GmbH in the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) division.
**Primary Job Function**
The primary role of this position is supporting the Associate Director Commercial and Strategic Planning in driving and coordinating business planning cycles’ deliverables at international markets level.
**Core Job Responsibilities**
+ Coordinate Commercial Reviews across various international markets, providing guidance to regional and country teams while partnering closely with International HQ and Global stakeholders to ensure consistency, transparency, and strategic alignment.
+ Drive multiple strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with global and regional expert teams.
+ Act as a key liaison between various international markets and Global team, ensuring timely communication, clear action plans, and strong stakeholder alignment.
+ Define, evaluate, and continuously improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to support effective business planning and decision‑making.
+ Promote best‑practice sharing across markets to drive standardization and continuous improvement.
+ Analyze market performance and commercial assumptions, ensuring their accurate integration into patient‑driven forecasting models and commercial scenario analysis.
+ Collaborate cross functional and regional teams to ensure aligned assumptions, clear accountability, and efficient decision‑making.
+ Organize and coordinate internal and external project stakeholders, driving timely execution against milestones and ensuring effective communication throughout organization.
**Qualifications**
+ University degree required (business, economics, or life sciences preferred); Master’s degree is a plus.
+ 8–12 years of experience in commercial planning, strategic planning, IBP, or management consulting, ideally within pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
+ Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience presenting to senior and executive‑level leadership.
+ Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and deliver high‑quality outcomes under pressure.
+ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI and/or VBA experience is a plus.
+ Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
