What You’ll Be Doing (position summary):

The Manager, Credit Processing Services, is responsible for leading the Hyderabad-based Credit Processing Services team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of credit applications and related activities. This leadership role is critical to maintaining operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and high service standards for CIBC’s credit operations. The manager will oversee a cohort of 10+ staff, driving performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

How You’ll Succeed (responsibilities):

  • Manage and supervise the Credit Processing Services team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to SLAs
  • Oversee end-to-end credit processing, including application review, documentation, and approval workflows
  • Implement process enhancements to improve turnaround times and reduce operational risk
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policy requirements
  • Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support business objectives
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement


Experience: 8+ years of experience

Who You Are (skills/qualifications):

Must Have Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
  • Proven expertise in operations management and strategy development at a business unit or enterprise level
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial services, including leadership or senior strategic roles
  • Professional certifications preferred
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong understanding of credit products, processing workflows, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with credit processing systems and workflow management tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills
