Role Summary Manages a team of security engineers responsible for designing, defining and implementing technical security programs to protect the integrity of the organization's network and systems. May establish and maintain security standards and technologies. Manages security engineering operations including vulnerability management, security scanning and monitoring, automated solution and compliance reporting, endpoint security, cloud security, edge security, DLP and AI security. Work on security policies and processes to protect the network, systems, and data. Stays current on evolving security and legislative / regulatory changes related to security. Accountable for the management of a section of work. Makes input into specific aspects of the operating plans of the function or unit at the next highest organization level, then, based on prevailing conditions, manages the daily operations of assigned section of work. Outcomes managed have an impact on the assigned section of work. Allocates available resources to meet operating objectives. Interacts with direct reports and peers in management / customers / vendors to share information and improve cross-departmental processes. Ensure the ongoing training and development of direct reports. Work is reviewed relative to defined operating outcomes / milestones. Duties & Responsibilities Manages the engineering security activities of a team. Take engineering tasks from the US team and help maximize by providing overnight support Investigate security issues and implement corrective actions. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change. Typically reports to a department head. Competencies: Leadership skills, Judgement, Creativity, Organizational skills, Technical expertise, Problem-solving skills. Requirements Basic Qualification 9 to 12 years strong security engineering and architecture background Leading, managing a team of security engineers Expert in application security, vulnerability management, DLP, endpoint, cloud & edge AI security Stability focus Deep understanding of various security protocols and measures. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.

Required Skills & Qualifications 10 year’s experience in an infrastructure engineering or DevOps role 4 years hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS 2 years hands on experience engineering Kubernetes solutions and associated ecosystems Strong background in automation with modern automation tools like Terraform, Packer, and Puppet. Demonstrated abilities managing code and other project files with Git CI/CD experience with modern tooling like Jenkins or Azure DevOps Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts (Virtual Private Networks, Software Defined Networking, Network and Application Load Balancers, DNS, API Gateways, Routing). Solid grasp of cloud security principles and compliance standards. Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration. Understanding of GitOps Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Preferred Qualifications Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc). Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell). Hands on experience with modern GitOps tools such as FluxCD or ArgoCD
