Manager - Data Protection/Privacy

Profile Summary:

IGT Solutions is looking for a Manager - Data Privacy. The position is responsible for review, develop, maintain data privacy policies. Follow best trends and practices related to data privacy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own and constantly review all the global data protection compliance arrangements to include updating policies, guidelines, centralizing processes and putting in place robust, time-bound remedial plans where necessary.
• Develop and maintain relevant global internal data privacy policies, records and training.
• Inform and advise IGT on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) along with other applicable local data protection laws and its requirements, liaising with local support as required. Serving as a subject matter expert for developing & implementing a robust data protection plan.
• Liaise with other Business functions as necessary on cross-departmental data privacy Matters.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of privacy standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Assist with the privacy elements of client information security audits, questionnaires, proposals, terms of engagement agreements etc. to demonstrate that the IGT privacy arrangements meet client expectations and industry standards.
• Assist with the investigation of privacy and security breaches, and with any associated disciplinary, legal and remedial matters as necessary.
• Act as a liaison to the firm's Corporate Governance & Compliance in relation to global data privacy issues.
• Monitor the industry landscape to keep visibility on evolutions, trends, and best practices related to Data Privacy.
• Ensure that systematic compliance audits are undertaken and that their findings are reported and acted upon.

Knowledge, Skills, Other Abilities:

· Should be a Graduate

• Demonstrate experience of managing data privacy issues
• Solid working knowledge of complex privacy concepts, principles and standards (including international transfer of data) and their application in an international enterprise setting.
• Capable of conducting data privacy compliance reviews and audits.

· Should have excellent communication, presentation & excel skills

· Should have an analytical capability

Relevant Experience & Desired Education:

· Minimum 10 Years total experience ( Min 6 - 8 relevant exp) in driving Data Protection & Privacy & Audits

· Graduate: LLB
