Job Description

+ You monitor the operation and maintenance of all electrical equipment and power consumption, including all utility equipment and user equipment across BTA, BTB, BTC, and related utility systems.
+ You oversee factory electrical distribution and ensure all statutory compliances related to utility electrical systems and associated equipment are met.
+ You track daily KPIs in coordination with the utility team and ensure alignment with statutory electrical compliance requirements.
+ You monitor preventive maintenance (PM) activities, transformer parameters across all areas, and the EMS system.
+ You manage the operation and maintenance of DG sets and monitor all pumps, including hydraulic pumps, cooling water, hot water, and chilled-water pumps.
+ You ensure smooth operation and maintenance of all cooling systems, chilled water plants, refrigeration units, and AC systems.
+ You ensure pressure vessels are inspected and certified as per statutory guidelines.
+ You handle testing and certification of air receivers and safety valves on the main grid.
+ You ensure the supply and distribution of electrical switchgear is reliable, supported by a proper preventive maintenance plan.
+ You coordinate liaison activities with the Boiler Inspector, MIDC, Explosive Department, and Factory Inspector for all utility-related matters.
+ You implement GPER and LOTO systems within the Utilities department.
+ You ensure full statutory compliance across all utility operations.
+ You work to improve the stability and reliability of utility equipment and electrical switchgear.
+ You check and maintain inventory levels of critical spares for utility and electrical equipment.
+ You update and manage stocking lists related to utilities, ensuring effective cost control on spare parts.
+ You drive Energy Conservation initiatives throughout the plant.
+ You conduct inspections and audits of electrical equipment and switchgear across the plant.
+ You standardize utility equipment across the facility to ensure uniformity and efficiency.
+ You lead process audit activities, including temperature monitoring and thermography of electrical equipment.
+ You execute leak detection and repair programs across the entire plant.
+ You manage E‑waste handling and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
+ You ensure day‑to‑day operations are environmentally responsible and assess their environmental impact.
+ You minimize waste and promote reuse and recycling, while controlling environmental spillage.
+ You are accountable for safety and environmental incidents within the plant.
+ You control environmental impacts such as resource depletion, poor working environment, land contamination, air pollution, health hazards, and noise pollution during DG set operations and maintenance.
+ You comply with all legal and statutory requirements relevant to utilities and electrical systems.
