About the role
Lead a team within Property to manage Tesco's energy consumption, facilitate data-driven decision making, and contribute to strategic projects aimed at reducing energy costs and carbon emissions.
You will be responsible for
- Managing energy efficiency projects and evaluate their success through effective post-investment reviews & analysis. - Optimize energy consumption and reduce costs to meet Tesco's carbon targets implementing data-driven strategies.- Identify trends, anomalies & gain a deep understanding of energy usage by analyzing energy consumption data from various sources. - Collaborate with FP&A and Treasury team to develop precise energy budgets for better energy procurement across the Tesco group. - Forecast future electricity demand considering factors such as solar rollout, fit-outs, EV charging, and decarbonization initiatives. - Establish effective Energy consumption baselines for exception and drift monitor...
