Summary:
We are seeking a talented and proactive ServiceNow Technical Consultant – ITOM. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of the ServiceNow ITOM suite, ensuring seamless integration with broader IT Service Management processes and tools.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact ITOM solutions that drive operational visibility, performance, and efficiency across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM modules, including:DiscoveryService MappingEvent ManagementCloud ManagementCustomize and configure ServiceNow components using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and UI PoliciesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and align ITOM capabilities with business needsIntegrate ServiceNow ITOM with CMDB, ITSM, and third-party monitoring toolsPerform health checks, gap analyses, and optimizations of current ITOM implementationsAssist in the creation of technical documentation, design artifacts, and test plansTroubleshoot and resolve ITOM-related issuesStay current with the latest ServiceNow platform updates, releases, and best practicesSupport presales and scoping efforts, if requiredQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field10-12 years of IT experience, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically in ITOM modulesStrong technical expertise in:Discovery & MID Server deploymentService Mapping & CMDB architectureEvent Management and integrationsExperience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), Flow Designer, and Integration HubGood understanding of ITIL/ITSM concepts and CMDB designExperience working in Agile environmentsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage client interactionsPreferred Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOMPreferred Skills:
