Position Title: Manager – Finance & Accounts
Job Summary:
Manager – Finance & Accounts with strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA Finance and a solid background in accounting. The incumbent will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closing, handling accounts reconciliation, and ensuring statutory compliance related to GST, TDS and other tax requirements. This role calls for a strategic thinker with excellent accounting expertise and proven ability in managing financial operations through SAP S/4 HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage core accounting operations using SAP S/4 HANA Finance , including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and financial close processes.
• Oversee accounts reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts in compliance with accounting standards and timelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory tax returns.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to the accounts team, ensuring best practices and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA Finance (FI) module. Must have 15 plus years of experience
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and core finance activities including accounts reconciliation and closing.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax provisions and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end financial operations and statutory compliance.
