Purpose of the Role

The Manager – Games Commercial Operations is responsible for managing end-to-end commercial operations for the Games business, covering monetization, billing, revenue reconciliation, and collections across game titles and platforms. The role partners closely with Games Business, Product, Monetization, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure accurate pricing, billing, revenue recognition, and strong commercial controls.

This role ensures revenue assurance, minimizes revenue leakage, improves collection efficiency, and supports scalable growth of the Games business through robust commercial governance, analytics, and process automation.


Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Games Business, Product, and Monetization teams to validate pricing, in-game offers, subscriptions, and commercial constructs.

• Own end-to-end order-to-revenue cycle for Games, including deal setup, usage tracking, billing, reconciliation, and collections.

• Monitor in-game transactions, usage, payouts, and settlements to ensure billing accuracy and revenue completeness.

• Implement and enforce commercial concurrence guidelines, pricing frameworks, and discounting controls for Games monetization.

• Drive accurate and timely billing for games revenue streams (IAPs, subscriptions, passes, partnerships, sponsorships).

• Ensure timely collections and settlement of receivables from partners, platforms, and distributors with minimal aged outstanding.

• Analyze player usage, monetization trends, and payment patterns to identify revenue enhancement and leakage prevention opportunities.

• Work with Finance and Tax teams to ensure correct revenue recognition, settlements, and statutory compliance.

• Collaborate with Technology and Data teams to automate reconciliation, dashboards, and commercial reporting.

• Track Games revenue vs AOP and highlight risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans.

• Coordinate with regional, billing, and partner management teams to resolve disputes and close outstanding balances.

• Provide commercial insights and recommendations to leadership to support Games growth strategy.
