THE ROLE

As the Manager for Gifting & Sales, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the vision for our gifting team. You’ll lead the team responsible for curating exceptional gifting experiences, build meaningful relationships with our clients, and work to proactively expand our brand’s presence in the gifting space via events and activations. Whether it's executing long-term sales strategies or working with order fulfilment teams, you’ll ensure every client’s experience is one-of-a-kind, full of delight, and aligned with the magic of Bombay Sweet Shop.
Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with internal teams, managing corporate accounts, and developing fresh sales initiatives. You’ll lead a passionate team, strategize high-impact campaigns, and make sure our gifting products shine in every possible way. WHO YOU ARE
You’re not just a Sales Manager— you’re a visionary with a bias to action. With at least 5 years of experience in sales and team leadership, ideally in retail, luxury products, or food services, you know how to grow a business, inspire a team, and curate memorable experiences for every client.
You’re not afraid to think outside the box, and you have a natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, both corporate and individual.
You’re excited by the challenge of overseeing a dynamic team, streamlining operations, and keeping the gifting team at the forefront of innovation. If you’re someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, and an eye for detail, you’re the leader we need.
YOUR TEAM
As the Manager of Gifting & Sales, you’ll be leading a diverse and dynamic team of sales professionals, account managers, and coordinators. You’ll inspire and motivate them to deliver exceptional results and create memorable gifting experiences for every client. You’ll work closely with the product development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and that we’re always ahead of trends and deliverables.
WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO
You’ll report to the Director of Revenue and collaborate regularly with the leadership team. They’ll be your go-to for support, guidance, and strategy execution. Together, you’ll drive the vision for Bombay Sweet Shop’s gifting team, setting the standard for excellence and innovation.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Team Leadership & Revenue:
Lead a passionate, high-performing sales team with positivity and clear direction to meet our sales targets.
Set goals, provide mentorship, and keep the team motivated to consistently exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
Recruit, train, and develop new team members, ensuring a continuous pipeline of talent for our growing needs.
Gifting Strategy Execution & Client Service
Develop and execute plans to expand our gifting sales, focusing on both individual and corporate clients.
Curate seasonal gifting collections, working closely with product development and marketing teams.
Manage high-value corporate accounts, ensuring personalized service and attention to detail so that every gifting experience aligns with the exceptional quality and care Bombay Sweet Shop is known for.
Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales and develop new business opportunities, including B2B partnerships, corporate gifting programs, and high-end customer sales.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-value clients and partners.
Identify market trends and customer needs to create innovative gifting solutions.
Oversee key campaigns, promotions, and seasonal events to maximize sales and customer engagement.
Operational Efficiency & Reporting:
Manage day-to-day operations of the gifting team, including billing and order fulfillment.
Monitor performance metrics, ensuring that sales targets and operational KPIs are met.
Oversee the preparation of regular reports on sales performance, trends, and opportunities for growth..
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
At least 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, with a proven track record in B2B sales, gifting, or luxury retail sectors.
Experience managing teams and driving business growth in a dynamic environment.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve ambitious goals.
Proven expertise in developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and executing high-level campaigns to meet sales targets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with a hands-on approach to building our team.
