Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients of variable sizes across different industries aligned with onshore team expectations
  • Lead teams on the planning, execution, and completion of audits
  • Proactively manage client expectations and be point-of-contact for clients and onshore team 
  • Working closely with Financial Controller/Director or Senior Executive levels in managing the audit specific requirements
  • Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales and identify opportunities for additional billings
  • Report directly to senior manager/director on engagements
  • Conduct detailed reviews and provide structured, constructive feedback
  • Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required
  • Provide technical auditing and accounting assistance to team members and clients 
  • Participate in the coaching, mentoring and appraisal of staff
  • Ensure audit engagements comply with firm-wide quality standards and regulatory expectations
  • Foster a strong culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Manage and coordinate the pitch/proposals for new work
  • Work as part of the management team and participate in firm initiatives (Quality improvement, training, resource planning, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with onshore teams across time zones
  • Drive standardization, documentation, and process efficiencies



Requirements

Qualifications:

·       Qualification – CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent

Experience:

·       6-10 years of experience in audit and assurance services

·       Experience required in large statutory audits including Group Audits

·       Can demonstrate strong technical auditing and accounting skills, including knowledge of the ISAs and accounting standards IFRS, US GAAP or FRS100 to FRS102

·       Proven management skills and behaviors

·       Understands the operational aspects of managing an audit team and be accountable for results

·       Experience in challenging Management, including experience in managing difficult conversations

·       Strong communication skills

·       Adaptable to change
