Job Title: Head of Costing

Location: Ponneri, Chennai

Job Overview: We re looking for a Head of Costing to lead our costing team. You ll be in charge of managing and analyzing costs, creating budgets, and finding ways to save money. You should be a strategic thinker with strong financial skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Costs:
• Create and implement strategies to keep costs under control for all projects.
• Analyze costs and budgets to find savings and address financial risks.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new and ongoing projects.
• Planning & Budgeting:
• Work with senior management to create annual budgets and financial plans.
• Track budget performance and report on any differences from the plan, suggesting ways to fix issues.
• Reporting:
• Prepare and present reports on costs and financial performance to management.
• Ensure all cost data is accurate and reported on time.
• Leading the Team:
• Manage and guide the costing team to ensure high performance.
• Provide training to help the team improve their skills.
• Improving Processes:
• Review and improve costing processes for better accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure all practices follow industry standards and regulations.
• Working with Others:
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and other departments on cost matters.
• Offer expert advice on financial decisions and strategies.

Qualifications:

• CMA
• 5-10years
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and financial planning.
